Review the terms and conditions for using InsightsBYGreen’s editing and research support services, including payment, confidentiality, and client expectations.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the conditions under which Insights BY Green (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides editorial and research-related services (“Services”) to clients (“you” or “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
A written agreement outlining the scope, timeline, and deliverables must be confirmed via email or a signed document before project commencement. No work will begin until confirmation is received.
For projects under $350 (or equivalent), full payment is required upfront before any work begins.
For projects over $350, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before the project starts.
The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before delivery of the final work.
Payment must be made via PayPal as indicated on the invoice.
Final files will not be released until full payment is received.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
In the event of project cancellation by the client after work has commenced, the initial 50% deposit will not be refunded.
If cancellation occurs after significant work has been completed, additional payment may be required based on hours worked.
Each service includes 1-3 rounds of revisions, unless otherwise stated in writing. Any additional revisions are subject to additional fees.
We strive to meet agreed-upon deadlines. However, delays caused by late client responses, incomplete information, or scope changes may result in adjusted delivery timelines.
6. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing all necessary materials, clear instructions, and timely feedback. We are not liable for delays or errors resulting from incomplete or unclear information provided by the client.
All client information and materials will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties without written consent.
You retain full rights to your original work. Edits and deliverables provided by Insights BY Green become your property upon final payment.
All final deliverables will be submitted in the format agreed upon at the start of the project. Common formats include Microsoft Word (.docx), PDF, or Google Docs. If a different format is required, it must be requested in advance. Projects will be delivered via email or a shared folder (e.g., Google Drive), depending on client preference.
A project may be cancelled by either party before work begins. Once work has commenced, cancellations will be handled under the following terms:
If cancellation occurs after work has begun but before 50% of the project is completed, the 50% deposit is retained to cover time already spent.
If cancellation occurs after 50% of the project is completed, full payment is due.
No cancellations are accepted within 72 hours of the agreed delivery deadline.
11. Right to Decline Projects
We reserve the right to decline any project that falls outside our area of expertise, violates ethical standards, or presents a conflict of interest.
Due to the nature of editorial and research services, no full refunds are offered once work has commenced. However, client satisfaction is important. If issues arise, reasonable revisions may be provided at no additional cost within a specified revision window (typically 7 days after delivery).
Refunds will only be considered in the case of non-delivery or significant breach of contract on the part of Insights BY Green. Any refund request must be submitted in writing within 5 days of delivery.
We do not guarantee publication, acceptance, or success of edited or reviewed work. Our responsibility is limited to providing professional editorial and research assistance as agreed.
